Analysing Pictures

Connotation -an idea or feeling which a word invokes for a person in addition to its literal or primary meaning.

Denotation -the literal or primary meaning of a word, in contrast to the feelings or ideas that the word suggests.

This is a image of several flowers. The background is unfocused and the foreground is focused. The flowers are pink. This could suggest that sometimes a deeper meaning can be unveiled and it causes you to look beneath the surface. Thinking behind what you originally see can sometimes lead to a whole different story. The flowers could represent life and the focused background could link together to suggest how people have different stories within their lives and how there's more to people's lives than just what people see. The colour pink could link to romance - the different shades of pink of the flowers could suggest that all romance is difference.
